Ceiba Housing and Economic Development Corporation in Ceiba, PR will receive a Rural Housing and Economic Development Innovative Grant in the amount of $397,900. The applicant proposes to use their innovative award to provide a program to bring affordable housing and small business development opportunities to the low-income elderly and Hispanic population of Ceiba. The Municipal government of Ceiba and Federal Home Loan Bank of New York and USDA Rural Development are just a few of the organizations that are assisting in the project. Proposed leveraging is over a million dollars.
