Brief Description
Federal Agencies, with the assistance of the Federal Executive Boards and several communications companies, revised the way they list their numbers in telephone director Blue Pages to provide a user friendly, immediately recognizable improvement in the way telephone listings for federal agencies are presented to the general public. The Blue Pages have been reformatted to make it easier for members of the public to readily identify the federal agency appropriate to their needs. This spares them the "bureaucratic run around" so many citizens have had the misfortune to experience. It also saves time and resources for federal agencies who'd otherwise have to refer citizens to their best guess at the federal agency appropriate to the needs of the caller.
