Kenneth M. Donohue, Sr., was confirmed as HUD Inspector General. Prior to his appointment, Donohue worked on law enforcement and investigative issues in the private sector. Donohue's federal service includes Chief of the Investigations Section, Resolution Trust Corporation, and service in the FDIC Office of Legal Counsel's Fraud Unit. His federal career includes 21 years with the U.S. Secret Service as a special agent, including service to the CIA's Counter-Terrorism Center as a member of the Assistant Director's staff. Donohue also served within the Investigation Division, on the Presidential Detail and spent two tours with the Protective Intelligence Division. He is a graduate of St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida.
Vickers B. Meadows was confirmed as HUD Assistant Secretary for Administration. Meadows previously served as Special Assistant to the President and Director of White House Management, and Director of Administration for the Bush-Cheney Transition. From 1995 to 2000, she was Director of Administration for then-Governor Bush. She served at the Department of Transportation from 1989 to 1993, as Deputy Director and then Director of the Executive Secretariat. From 1985 to 1989, Meadows served in the White House as Procurement Officer and Director of Presidential Gifts and then Special Assistant to the Vice President for Administration. She is a graduate of Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont.
Diane Lenegan Tomb was confirmed as HUD Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs. Tomb previously was the Senior Vice President for Communications of the Fannie Mae Foundation. Before joining Fannie Mae, she was the Director of the Public Affairs Practice and Marketing Director for the Washington Regional Office of Burson-Marsteller from 1994 to 1997. Tomb served at the U.S. Department of Commerce from 1991 to 1993, first as an Associate Director in the Office of Business Liaison, and then as the Director of Public Affairs for the International Trade Administration. She is a graduate of Mount St. Mary's in Maryland.
