HUD's Office of General Counsel will conduct New Employee Ethics Training for HUD staff hired between September 9, 2002 and September 30, 2002. The training will be conducted through a satellite broadcast on Friday, November 15, from 1:30 pm - 3 pm EST (10:30 am - 12 pm PST). While the training is open to all interested HUD employees, it is mandatory for new employees. There will be no make-up session.
Topics that will be covered include Misuse of Official Position; Impartiality in Performing Official Duties; Gifts during the Holiday Season; Conflicting and Prohibited Financial Interests; and Outside Employment and Other Activities.
Headquarters employees can take part in the ethics training in the HUD Cafeteria. Field employees can take part in the session at their distance learning broadcast site. Information regarding local broadcast sites is available from your HUD Field Academy training consultant. Employees who are required to attend this ethics training must sign-in (please print clearly, as this will be a record of your participation).
