Carol was selected by the office's Customer Service Committee based on her unwavering performance in treating all clients with dignity and respect, even in the most challenging circumstances.

"All of HUD's clients benefit from Carol's bright and cheerful approach to her work," her nomination papers read. "HUD can be assured that, should a client reach Carol, they will be treated fairly and with a smile and will likely leave the conversation happier than when it began. Carol is a pleasure to work with and a real asset to HUD."

Carol received an 8-hour time-off incentive award and Tom Bilodeau, who nominated her, will receive an hour of leave.

The office's Customer Service award program was launched in January during its Customer Service Week initiative.
