Monday, April 19, 2004

Today marks the 9th anniversary of the terrorist attack that took place shortly after 9:00 a.m. in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995. That attack killed 168 innocent men, women and children, including 35 HUD employees. At 9:02 a.m. (central time), the moment the bomb exploded, we ask each HUD employee to pause and remember your colleagues who died that day.

Headquarters will formally mark the anniversary at a 9:30 a.m. ceremony at the courtyard monument led by Assistant Secretary Roy Bernardi. All employees are invited to attend.
