Homewise Drawing Coming Soon...and the Veterans' Homes are Still Available!

Monday, September 13, 2004

HUD is very pleased to report that it has received well over a thousand applications for its 2004 Homewise Program! Under Homewise, 10 lucky income eligible families will receive a rehabilitated home at 50% off the home's appraised value. Although the Homewise Program will certainly make the dream of homeownership a reality for the 10 families that win the Homewise drawings, the program expects to assist thousands of low-to-moderate income families in achieving their dream of building wealth, starting a small business, or sending a child to college through homeownership by using the equity from their home!
