The national conference for the National Association of Real Estate Brokers was held in Louisville, Kentucky, from July 21-28, 2006. Mr. Engram Lloyd, Director of the Philadelphia Homeownership Center, opened the workshop with a presentation on the New FHA. Mr. Lloyd presented recent changes and proposed changes to FHA programs as well as information on the FHA Modernization Act before Congress.

On July 23, 2006, Single Family staff from the Atlanta Homeownership Center conducted a two-hour workshop covering FHA basics, non-profit participation in single-family programs, funding opportunities with HUD, the Streamline K product and the 203(h) Disaster Program.

Throughout the week, HUD staff of the Louisville Field Office provided information on HUD programs and FHA products to realtors at the trade show exhibition.
