Justice for Victims of Crimes Award

On April 23, 2004, Jeffrey Taylor, the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, honored Patricia Sanders and Wallace Merriman with the Justice for Victims of Crimes Award. Patricia Sanders is a management analyst in the Office of Legal Counsel. She manages the Witness Relocation program which protects witnesses to crime in public housing by relocating them to other housing using section 8 vouchers. Wallace Merriman is an Assistant Special Agent in Charge in the Baltimore office. ASAC Merriman is the law enforcement liaison for the Witness Relocation program for the District of Columbia. After presenting the awards, Mr. Taylor spoke to Ms. Sanders, ASAC Merriman, SAC Clarke, and Bryan Saddler and emphasized the importance of the program to his office's prosecutions.
