On May 3, 2007, thanks in part to the American Dream Downpayment Initiative, Lisa Wilson and her three small children became first-time homeowners of a 1,600 square foot newly constructed home in McKeesport, PA. Ms. Wilson was a participant in the McKeesport Housing Authority's Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program since January 1, 1999.

The Wilson's new home is the first of ten (10) new homes to be built as a result of the Blueprint Communities Initiative located in the City of McKeesport's Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area (NRSA).
