PART III: Coordinating HUD Programs
Center for Community and Interfaith Partnerships

The Center for Community and Interfaith Partnerships links community and faith-based organizations to the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Established by Secretary Cuomo, the Center's mission is to focus, integrate, and intensify HUD's relationship with these groups. Though the Center is not a funding source, it fulfills its mission by seeking input, sharing resources, and building a network of organizations to maximize the impact of local and national community development projects. By forming partnerships between various levels of government and community and faith-based organizations, HUD will continue to build strong communities for the 21st century.
