HUD Regional Administrator Rick Garcia expressed his gratitude toward the partners and stakeholders on site for their accomplishments. Regional Administrator Rick Garcia said, "The Urban Land Conservancy who were the managers of the development, The Del Norte Neighborhood & Development Corporation, the Transit Oriented Development fund, and the City & County of Denver were all huge players in planning the new community and improving the West Colfax Neighborhood. For this particular site, constructing quality housing is crucial to Denver, for it is a gateway to Downtown Denver."
