HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT SECRETARY DONOVAN, SENATOR BENNET TO TOUR "GREEN" REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT, DISCUSS JOB CREATION IN DENVER

WASHINGTON - U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan will travel to Denver, CO on Friday, May 14, to join U.S. Senator Michael Bennet on a tour of Benedict Park Place, a 15-acre sustainable, mixed-income and mixed-use redevelopment housing project in Denver, CO. They will meet construction workers and discuss the Obama Administration's and Congress's efforts to create jobs and provide affordable, sustainable housing and continued economic recovery.

Secretary Donovan and Senator Bennet will be joined by Congressman Ed Perlmutter for a media availability
following the tour to provide brief remarks on the economy and "green" job creation, and answer questions.
