South Floridians Ready to be Homeowners

Housing counselors, lenders and several other HUD partner agencies provided guidance to potential homebuyers.

On June 28th, over 300 potential homebuyers learned about affordable and efficient paths to home ownership at a Homebuyer expo in Miramar, Florida. Attendees received information from several presenters, lenders, partners, and non-profit agencies for programs on financing, housing assistance, and fair housing.

Miami Field Office Director, Armando Fana, remarked, "The event provided attendees with an opportunity to learn more about the home buying process and assistance programs that may be available to them through HUD partner agencies. Most of all it provided attendees that the American dream of homeownership may be within their reach. It was a great way to conclude National Homeownership Month."
