HUD NAMES NEW IDAHO STATE DIRECTOR

BOISE - Brian Dale, a senior management analyst with and 20-uyear veteran of the U.S. Department of Housing and urban Development, has been named state director for HUD in Idaho, HUD Northwest Regional Administrator Jeff McMorris announced today. The appointment was effective Sunday, March 31st, 2019.

"Brian is a superb fit," McMorris said. "For the past 20 years he has been working with communities big and small across the state to find ways HUD resources and programs can help them meet their highest priority housing and community development needs."

Prior to joining HUD in 1998, Dale, 52, served for three years as director of the Utah Statewide Independent Living Council. and has served on the staff of Missouri Governor's Council on Disability. A native of New Jersey, he received a bachelor's degree from Westminster College. He is a certified community developer by the Northwest Community Development Institute and has done course-work at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

He and his wife and daughter live in Boise.
