Illinois Awarded Nearly $12 Million

HUD Deputy Secretary Maurice Jones, HHS Midwest Regional Administrator, Antonio R. Riley and Governor Pat Quinn made the announcment.

They met to announce that HUD and HHS awarded Illinois nearly $12 million in rental assistance. It is to provide permanent supportive housing to extremely low-income persons with disabilities in Illinois to prevent homelessness or unnecessary institutionalization.
