Grand Opening - Fieldcrest's Neighborhood Networks Center (NNC)
In a small rural community in Waynesboro, MS, enthusiastic residents and community leaders proudly attended the grand opening of a Neighborhood Networks Computer Resource Center. This computer resource center was funded in part by a mortgage restructure of Fieldcrest Apartments and is located adjacent to the leasing office of the apartment complex. There are currently three computers connected to the internet and two recently donated computers will be added. The young and old are invited to discover and share the world of cyberspace and computer technology. By providing access to computers, online services and electronic educational tools, the Fieldcrest can help close the gap for those without access to this world of technology.
