The Fargo HUD Field Office staff in North Dakota participated in a vaccination outreach effort with the Fargo Housing & Redevelopment Authority (FHRA) at their annual Healthy Family Day Event that celebrated the theme "What Home Means to Me." HUD staff distributed educational materials and informed residents about the different ways to get the vaccine. The Fargo/Cass Public Health was on-site with a free vaccination clinic. Other event activities included visits with the local police department, a Fair Housing training, and a children's calendar drawing contest, where the winning submission will be forwarded to the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials' (NAHRO) national calendar competition. Approximately 75 residents attended the event that was moved indoors due to inclement weather.
