Governor of Nebraska Signs Proclamation
for the 2002 National Homeownership Month

On Thursday, June 27, Nebraska Governor Mike Johanns signed a proclamation declaring June 2002 as National Homeownership Month in the State of Nebraska. The ceremony was held in the Jerome Warner Senate Chambers at the Nebraska State Capital Building in Lincoln. Joining Omaha HUD staff were other major state and federal housing providers, realtors, and nonprofit groups in Nebraska. Approximately 20 participants were involved in the day's event.
