Using a HUD grant, Williams Prepared Place offers hope and assistance to recovering addicts.

The Williams Prepared Place Transitional Housing Program is a faith-based, non-profit, multicultural restoration program for individuals recovering from drug addiction and alcoholism. Pastor Bruce Williams noted, "Williams Prepared Place, in utilizing HUD's Supportive Housing grant funding, has a success rate in rehabilitating drug and alcohol users that is twice the national average". This program sustains, maintains and retains recovering addicts and alcoholics during their transition from a clinical environment to a peer home environment to a restored life as a productive member of the community. The 12-Step Counseling Program coupled with mental health counseling provides the foundation and support necessary for each participant, while the facility provides eighteen fully furnished efficiency apartments, including two units for persons with disabilities.
