HUD Office's Monthly 'Lunch and Learn' Program

On Wednesday, February 27, 2013, Teresa Hunter, Executive Director and members of the Omaha Family Housing Advisory Services (FHAS), Inc. staff, were invited to the HUD Omaha Office. They were there to share with the local HUD staff the wide array FHAS's programs and services. These programs are provided to eligible residents in the Omaha/Council Bluffs, IA area.

The presentation was part of the HUD Office's monthly "Lunch and Learn" program. It provided valuable information the FHAS program's relationship with its partners and clients. FHAS programs and services include the Tenant Services Program, Fair Housing Center of Nebraska, Homeowner Education Program, Foreclosure Prevention, Financial/Asset Management, Omaha Earned Income Tax Credit Program and Omaha 100.
