In early July, New York Hub Multi-Family Director Teresa Bainton (pictured below) attended and spoke at the grand opening of the Silvercrest Senior Housing Development in Briarwood, Queens. The Section 202, 80-unit residence will provide low-income seniors with beautiful and comfortable apartments plus wonderful support services. The new senior facility is across from the HUD-insured Silvercrest Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Other invited guests and speakers included Rep. Gregory Meeks, State Senator Frank Padavan, State Assemblyman Rory Lancman, and Queens Deputy Borough President Barry Grodenchik.
