RA Carrión Cuts Ribbon of Bronx Mixed-Use Development that contains Senior Housing and Medical Facilities

Regional Administrator Adolfo Carrión joined a host of Bronx elected officials, civic and business leaders, as well as health care workers and medical technicians to cut the ribbon at the grand opening of Harrison Circle, a mixed-used development containing senior housing and medical services sponsored by the Morris Heights Health Center. The development contains 70 apartments for low-income seniors, funded under HUD's Section 202 program, plus medical facilities that are expected to serve 18,000 patient a year. The Morris Heights Health Center was financed through federal Recovery monies and will offer physical therapy, mammography, orthopedics, and cardiology care.
