Ford, U.S. Federation Hispanic Chambers of Commerce Launch Latinos for a Green NY

Ford Motor Company and the New York State Federation of Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (NYSFHCC) have joined forces to drive environmental awareness through "Latinos for a Green New York." The two part initiative aims to celebrate and encourage environmentally conscious practices in the New York Latino Community through an acknowledgement dinner and family-friendly Green Expo.

Latinos for a Green New York kicked off with an Awards Dinner where local Hispanic advocates leading the way in conservation and sustainable practices were recognized for their achievements. The keynote speaker was former Bronx Borough President and HUD Regional Administrator, Adolfo Carrión.
