The proclamation from the City of Schenectady designating April 2013 as "Fair Housing Month" was received by Jaime Forero on behalf of HUD.

In addition, Mayor McCarthy presented Special Fair Housing Awards to Jeff Clark, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County; and Joseph Culver, Senior Vice President of NBT Bank. Also, the Mayor presented Home Ownership Made Easy in Schenectady (HOMES) partnership awards to Jaime Forero and Kurt Endres, representing Prospect Lending.
