HUD Attends 202 Ribbon Cutting

On November 13, Joan Spilman, HUD Buffalo Field Office, accompanied by her staff, joined with the Bishop Sheen Ecumenical Housing Foundation, their partners, and elected officials to cut the ribbon at Calkins Corners Senior Apartments in Henrietta, New York. Calkins Corners is a 40-unit, HUD Section 202 supportive housing apartment complex that creatively combines 20 units of mixed finance units funded through the State of New York Housing Finance Agency. Joining Ms. Spilman in opening the project were Henrietta Town Supervisor Michael Yedleson and representatives from the offices of Congresswoman Louise Slaughter and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, as well as the development and management team of Calkins Corners.
