HUD Region II Deputy Regional Administrator Mirza Orriols delivers closing remarks

HUD Region II Senior Management Analysts Earleene Sealy and Samuel Miller joined the Administration for Children and Families to promote responsible fatherhood during the annual event that attracted over 200 attendees. Federal and city agencies as well as non-profit organizations came together for a day of workshops and networking to exchange best practices in assisting fathers in engaging with their children and support healthy family relationships.

Breakout sessions included "Men's Health and the Profound Impact Men Have on Their Families' Health" moderated by Earleene Sealy that featured the importance of all fathers staying healthy for their children and taking advantage of the Affordable Care Act. "How Public Authorities Celebrated Father's Day" moderated by Samuel Miller highlighted annual events organized by Public Housing Authorities nationwide to bring fathers and their children together during the month of June. HUD also had a resource table.

Mirza Orriols, HUD Region II Deputy Regional Administrator delivered closing remarks and HUD Region II Administrative Assistant Angelique Urbina was on hand to assist in every aspect of the event.
