HUD Donations Give the Comforts of Home

Members of HUD's Homeless Field Working Group with reps from Philadephia nonprofit One Day at a Time

HUD's Philadelphia Regional Office successfully completed another year of participating in the Federal Executive Board's (FEB) Homeless to Housed Drive. With donations going to a Philadelphia nonprofit called One Day at a Time, each program office gave large loads of household items to help people experiencing homelessness move into their new homes. One Day at a Time serves low-income households and homeless families and individuals afflicted by addiction and HIV/AIDS. In addition to hosting this annual drive, the Philadelphia FEB handles the coordination and collaboration of 170 federal entities across southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and northern Delaware.
