National Resource Network Puerto Rico mayors get acquainted with solutions driven resource
HUD teamed up with Enterprise Communities to present the National Resource Network to various mayors and municipal officials. The National Resource Network (www.nationalresourcenetwork.org/) is a core component of the Strong Cities, Strong Communities initiative that develops and delivers innovative solutions to American cities to help them address their toughest economic challenges. The network works with local leaders to identify practical solutions, share real-world expertise and best practices, and help cities develop the tools and strategies they need to grow their economies. Attending officials expressed interest in this opportunity and possibilities of matching it with HUD funds was discussed. During the event, the Mayor of Caguas William Miranda Torres presented HUD San Juan Field Office Director Efraín Maldonado with a proclamation recognizing HUD's 50th Anniversary. It highlighted the contributions that HUD programs have made throughout the years to increase housing and economic development opportunities in Caguas. ### |
