HUD DEPUTY REGIONAL ADMINISTRATOR INVITES UTAH MEDIA TO TOUR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

SALT LAKE CITY - Ben Logue, President of The La Porte Group, a Utah area sustainable housing developer of low income housing in Utah will host HUD Deputy Regional Administrator Dan Gomez, Jr. for a tour of the HUD HOME
funded Stratford apartments in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Stratford apartments were rebuilt in 2006-2007 after a fire destroyed the Stratford Hotel. The new development is an Energy Star development that uses solar power to reduce power consumption and cost for tenants.
