The Arkansas River Valley Continuum of Care covers the City of Conway and Conway, Faulkner, Johnson, Perry, Pope and Yell Counties. Non-profit homeless assistance providers and State and local government agencies were involved in the development of the Continuum of Care which was guided by the Arkansas River Valley Homeless Assistance Network. Key elements of the Continuum of Care are: (1) continuation of transitional housing and services for chronically mentally ill homeless persons, (2) additional transitional housing and services for homeless families (3) plans for improving intake and assessment and providing crisis assistance by expanding referral and information services.
