The City of St. Louis, Missouri Continuum of Care covers the City of St. Louis. At least 30 organizations are involved in the process, including non-profit organizations, government agencies, and business organizations. The key element of their Continuum of Care development strategy is the Homeless Services Network Program of St. Louis. The network, representing over 30 organizations, is a unique community based process coordinated by the Department of Human Services which has been the recipient of a ACCESS Grant provided by the city for the purpose of reducing homelessness among people who have a serious mental illness or who are dually diagnosed. The City's future goals include increasing the availability of services, eliminating barriers by having training seminars for homeless service providers, making information available over the Internet, and strengthening the continuum of care.
