The City of Manchester, New Hampshire's largest city, is located in the Southern-Central part of the State. The Manchester Area Continuum of Care Coordinating Council represents only the jurisdiction of the City of Manchester. More than 80 non-profits homelessness assistance providers, business representatives, state and local government officials were involved in the development of the Continuum of Care system for the City of Manchester. Key elements of its Continuum of Care are: (1) promotion of coordination among Manchester's service providers and other community leaders in the ongoing development of a comprehensive system of care, (2) help families and individuals move from homelessness to successful placement in permanent housing (3) use of community resources to prevent homelessness.
