HUD APPLAUDS U.S. FORMAL RETURN TO PARIS CLIMATE AGREEMENT
WASHINGTON - The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development applauds President Biden for officially rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement. Climate change is an urgent and growing threat, and HUD will play a vital role in U.S. efforts to advance programs and policies essential to tackling the climate crisis and to promoting energy efficiency and clean energy across the building sector. The Department is also committed to ensuring that the communities most disproportionately impacted by the effects of climate change will benefit from our transition to a more sustainable, clean energy future.
