Brief Description
The Dept. of HUD Office of Public Housing Kansas/Missouri Office partnered with the Housing Authority, Chamber of Commerce and the City Government of the City of Independence, Missouri, as well as with private companies to establish a computer/internet classroom in the Hocker Heights Housing Development. Now, low income families have access to educational facilities to help them educate themselves, improve their job qualifications and graduate from welfare.
