Donations Sought for Capital Area Foodbank

Through March 19, all headquarter employees are asked to contribute food and non-perishable items that will be turned over to the Capital Area Foodbank, which serves more than 80,000 people daily in the Washington metropolitan area.

Collections bins will be located in the North and South lobbies.

The needed foodstuffs include non-perishable items such as canned goods, pastas and sauces, soups, cereal and fruit juices. Also being sought are snacks for children and cooking items such as brown rice, soy sauce, olive oil, flour, barley and cornstarch. Non-food items include diapers, deodorants, toilet paper, shampoo, toothpaste and feminine products.
