efficiency and effectiveness of various field office activities. Each year,
exemplary performances are recognized by the Department. Over the next month,
each of these exemplary practices will be recognized in the Daily Focus Message.

This exemplary practice provides technical assistance to realtors in order to
ensure that they follow HUD procedures and guidelines when using FHA programs.
Mr. Cannon developed a three-hour Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit class
to train realtors on how, when, and why to recommend FHA to prospective buyers
and borrowers. Over the past four years, nearly 500 Ohio realtors have taken Mr.
Cannon's course. The Philadelphia HOC and the Richmond Field Office have replicated
this exemplary practice.
