Mayor Franklin said the real work of ending chronic homelessness requires a comprehensive approach. "You cannot attach this problem successfully, whether it's prevention or bringing someone out of homelessness, without supportive services throughout the process," Franklin said.

HUD officials announced more than $9 million dollars in funding to support homeless programs in the Metro Atlanta Tri-Jurisdictional area. This is part of $30 Million dollars in homeless funds awarded to the State of Georgia.
