HUD Presents Nearly $6.4 Million to Longmont

Regional Director John Carson and Multifamily Director Marcie LaPorte announced a HUD grant for $6,375,000 at a recent meeting of the Longmont City Council. Mr. Carson presented a check to representatives of the Longmont Housing Development Corporation (LHDC) an arm of the Longmont Housing Authority (LHA) and the City of Longmont. HUD's funding will provide 50 units of housing for the city's senior citizens with incomes below 30 percent of the area median income, or approximately $18,250.
