Ribbon Cutting at Lewis Senior Living Apartments
On July 20, 2012, HUD Regional Administrator Rick Garcia joined state and local housing partners in Golden, Colorado to welcome new residents to the recently completed Lewis Court Senior Living Apartments. It is a NSP (Neighborhood Stabilization Program) funded project.
The Lewis Court community is an example of sustainable planning efforts to develop affordable housing, transportation and outstanding livability with-in existing neighborhoods. Lewis Court is located a short stroll up Jackson Street or a quick bus ride to the vibrant heart of Golden. It has a mix of shopping, dining and entertainment options for the residents.
