MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT
FOR HOUSING AND SERVICES TO THE HOMELESS
IN COLORADO
At 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will make a major funding announcement to support, house and provide coordinated services to homeless throughout Colorado. HUD’s Regional Administrator Rick Garcia and representatives from the Continuums of Care will hold a news conference at the Bo Matthew’s Center of Excellence, 3030 Downing, Denver, Colo. Persons previously homeless will speak on their personal challenges from being homeless to obtaining housing and training and coordination of social services.
