Tampa Housing Authority Breaks Ground on 30-Acre Residential Housing Facility

Tampa Housing Authority recently broke ground for the construction of Encore, a 1,700-resident facility that will contribute to revitalization of the neighborhood. The $38 million ARRA-funded (NSP-2) urban redevelopment project will create over 4,000 jobs during construction and 1,000 permanent jobs. Over 150 community leaders, elected officials and public housing residents were present to celebrate the groundbreaking event on May 11, 2010. We say, "Encore!"
