World Habitat for Humanity Day consisted of many events across the nation and other parts of the world. In addition to the Atlanta framing walls event, the Reynoldstown community proclamation was also a much anticipated and well attended event. The Reynoldstown community is located a short distance east from the downtown area. This neighborhood was once run down by age and nature. However, in recent years this Atlanta community has been revitalized with new construction and has maintained its rich historical attributes. Several partners within the housing industry and HUD came together to commemorate this neighborhood, and signed the Reynoldstown Community Proclamation to preserve the vital character of this community.
