The City of Atlanta reached a major milestone with its Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) by obligating over 90 percent of its federal NSP grant dollars and nearly 95 percent of its state allocation while also helping Tracey Sanders become a proud new home owner.

The federal stimulus dollars have helped the City acquire and renovate several homes for resale or rent as affordable housing. Through its NSP program and working with 13 local developers, the City has acquired 135 abandoned and/or foreclosed residential properties, producing 241 affordable units in various communities.
