HUD Has Designated Regional Sustainability Officers

57 new Regional Sustainability Officers

The Office of Sustainable Housing and Communities has now designated Regional Sustainability Officers. Their training dates were June 23 & 24 2010. There are 67 officers throughout the country and 57 are pictured here. The Sustainability Officers will work to tie the quality and location of housing to broader opportunities such as access to good jobs, quality schools, and safe streets, quality of life and environmental quality, by working with Department Of Transportation (DOT) and their affiliate state offices, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other federal agencies.
