Basketball superstar Magic Johnson, Microsoft Corporation, and Hewlett Packard have teamed up with HUD's Lake Grove Village Apartments to redesign the Neighborhood Network Learning center there. The center serves the residents and neighborhood surrounding the 458-unit HUD insured and subsidized complex at 3515 South Cottage Grove in Chicago.

The Magic Johnson Foundation provided capital funding that was utilized to redesign the interior of the existing Neighborhood Networks center. Hewlett Packard contributed a server and approximately 25 state of the art computers, printers and other equipment. Microsoft supplied roughly $87,000 in software.

Lake Grove Village Apartments is owned by Chicago Community Housing Partners.
