The "Gaining Ground" project will lease 18 units of permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless and unemployed persons living with HIV/AIDS. The project will also link residents to an HIV Employment Services System for job training and placement support. Project partners include the Chicago Department of Public Health, Chicago Continuum of Care, and AIDS Foundation of Chicago. Along with several other community based organizations, they'll provide case management, medical care, and other primary care services.
