The Indianapolis HUD Field Office, represented by Operations Specialist Bill Shaw on the Left and Kathleen Crawford, HUD Multifamily Program Assistant on the right, donated nine computers and two printers to the Elder W. Diggs Elementary School, IPS #42. In a recent ceremony, School principal, Kamona Coleman-McDowell (center) thanked HUD for the gifts, and said that the students would use the computers to enrich their educational experience. The donation included CPUs, monitors and keyboards. The excess computers will be used for after school tutoring programs, and be available for students at various times during the day. HUD has a special program to donate computers and printers that are no longer in use to educational institutions.
