Change a Light! The ENERGY STAR Change a Light Campaign is a national challenge to encourage every American to help change the world, one light - one energy-saving step - at a time. You can show your commitment by pledging to replace at least one light in your home with one that has earned the ENERGY STAR. The goal of HUD's participation in the Campaign is simple: to encourage as many as possible of our customers and partners in the affordable housing sector to "take the pledge" and replace at least one incandescent light bulb with an Energy Star Compact Fluorescent light (CFL). The ENERGY STAR Change a Light Bus Tour will kick off on ENERGY STAR Change a Light Day (October 3, 2007), travel coast to coast, and stop for events in 10 cities over a period of 20 days. The bus stops in Indianapolis on October 14th. Read more about the ENERGY STAR Change a Light, Change the World Campaign at http://www.energystar.gov
