On August 27, 2008, the Office of Public Housing in Kansas City, KS hosted a session with David Vargas, Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary, Office of Public Housing and Voucher Programs. Over 100 housing authorities from Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska were present to gain information on how to deal with the financial issues they are facing in administering their Housing Choice Voucher Programs.
